Talk radio host Emma Lloyd (Uma Thurman) advises one of her listeners to dump her fireman fiancé days before their wedding. Jilted ex Patrick (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) decides to get his revenge on the radio host and her posh, dull husband-to-be Richard (Colin Firth) with comic and romantic results. Solid, likeably old-fashioned romantic comedy from actor-turned-director Griffin Dunne (Addicted to Love, Practical Magic) with decent performances and a simple predictable script that never overreaches itself.
