  • 142 min
  • 12A
  • Directed by: Marc Webb
  • Cast: Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Dane DeHaan

Peter Parker (Garfield) goes up against new supervillains Electro (Foxx) and Harry Osborn (DeHaan). Garfield and Stone have enormous chemistry, Foxx and DeHaan bring complexity and pathos, and the rebooted franchise continues to capture the original character's wise-cracking energy in a way that the Raimi trilogy didn't.

From its beginnings as an early cinema called the Picturedrome (first opened in 1914), the Connaught Cinema and RitzDigital have undergone some major changes, including time spent as a theatre, tea dance venue and, since 1987, a cinema once again, with fully modernised projection facilities. Now the building has 3D capability, wheelchair access and some signed performances across the two screens.
