Film director Sebastian (Bernal, bland) arrives in Bolivia to make an epic on the life of Columbus, but is so focused on history that he fails to appreciate present injustices. Laverty and Bolain's well-intentioned drama is heavy-handed, but there are enough touching moments to make it worthwhile.
