To mark the 200th anniversary of the abolition of the slave trade in Britain, the GFT plays host to a day of films and events, including African drumming, storytelling, talks and workshops. The day includes a presentation by Peggy Brunache on African food, with two dishes available for sampling. All events are free but ticketed and tickets are available throughout the day.
