Martin (Dafoe) is a mercenary hired to track down the presumed extinct Tasmanian Tiger; during his hunt he meets recently widowed Lucy (O'Connor) and her young children. Dafoe is fun to watch, but it's basically another tale of an alienated male loner who becomes a better person around kids.
