This selection of newly restored (by the British Film Institute) General Post Office (GPO) short films made between 1936-39 includes seminal British documentary poem Night Mail, avant-garde animation Trade Tattoo (pictured) and musical comedy The Fairy on the Phone. Introduced by Dr Melanie Selfe from the Centre of Cultural Policy Research at the University of Glasgow.
