Excellent, deadpan black comedy, incorporating a wide range of themes to do with materialism, sex and bourgeois fastidiousness, as ordinary Paul and Mary Bland (Bartel and Wornonov) are distracted from their plans to escape L.A.'s madness by a scheme which combines catering with homicide.
