The movie release of Martin Scorsese’s concert documentary about the Rolling Stones will not be released until next April, according to distributor Paramount Classics, to give more time for a promotional campaign. The film ‘Shine A Light’ was shot during two performances at New York’s Beacon Theatre last October and included guest stars Jack White, one half of the White Stripes, and singer Christina Aguilera. The documentary was originally due to be released on September 21. However, the Stones, who viewed a rough cut of the film in Rome last month, are busy touring Europe until August 26.
