Justice League on? Off? Dull?

The continuing saga of Warner Brothers’ proposed Justice League adaptation continues to, well, continue really.

There’s no definite word if the film has even been given a lock, but the word on the depressingly geeky street is that casting is being held in Vancouver, New York and Toronto.

And furthermore, the dramatis personae which will see Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Green Lantern and Aquaman grace the screens will not include Brandon Routh or Christian Bale.

This is possibly all nonsense, but not getting Bale or Routh involved would surely be a massive snub to two fairly sizeable franchises.

It’ll probably never happen anyway.

  • Cast: Gal Gadot, Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Jason Momoa
  • UK release: 17 November 2017

A team of superheroes forms to fight an alien invasion led by chief baddie Steppenwolf (Hinds). As so often, the villain is less interesting than the heroes, being a soulless CGI creation, but Affleck and Gadot are growing into their roles and it’s a lot better than the lumbering Batman vs Superman.
