Cohen lines up less amusing character for new movie
- 6 September 2007
After doing really rather well with Borat, Sacha Baron Cohen has inked to star in the movie version of his ‘not really as good’ character Bruno.
Universal will be hoping the fashion reporter schtick will attract the huge audiences that lapped up his Borat. So to speak.
If that doesn’t work, Cohen has also been slated to appear in Dinner for Schmucks, which is apparently a remake of Francis Veber’s Le Diner de Cons.
Oh and it says here that the Ali G actor will also be appearing in Tim Burton’s Sweeney Todd, which looks remarkably like a live action version of the Corpse Bride but with more human pies and some songs.
