Bizarre video game adaptation #146
- 6 September 2007
There’s a few slightly alarming video game adaptations in the pipeline.
Hitman you can sort of understand, Halo might be a bit of a stretch and the new Resident Evil just looks rubbish.
However, CP Productions have taken the bar, raised it a little, then arched an eyebrow and lobbed the bar into the sun.
The unheard of production house has snapped up the rights to the 1982 Atari classic Joust.
Now, that might seem fairly reasonable until you remember the action in Joust revolved around knights mounted on flying space ostriches duking it out across a number of platform-heavy screens.
I think we can all agree the script for that one will be a bit special.
