Veep, 30 Rock and Homeland also walked away with prizes

The 2013 Emmy Awards – the ceremony that recognises the best in US primetime TV programming – took place in LA last night, with Breaking Bad, Modern Family and Behind the Candelabra among the big winners. The Newsroom, Homeland and Armando Iannucci's Veep were also among the big winners at the awards, which are split to recognise the wide breadth of talent that exists across a variety of programming formats, including comedy, drama and feature-length projects.
