A new featurette has just debuted for The Counsellor, the Michael Fassbender-starring drama directed by Ridley Scott and scripted by Cormac McCarthy. The featurette delves into the characters who populate the sinister, drug-fuelled world of the movie.

The Counsellor, which also stars Cameron Diaz, Penelope Cruz, Brad Pitt and Javier Bardem, follows the nameless legal eagle of the title (Fassbender) who becomes embroiled in a drug smuggling operation. The film is McCarthy's first written specifically for the screen, although some of his previous novels – including The Road and No Country for Old Men – have gone on to be very successful film adaptations.

The Counsellor hits UK screens on Fri 14 Nov.
