Behind-the-scenes video from James Bond film Spectre released

New footage shows Daniel Craig and co-stars filming in the Austrian mountains

Lights, camera, beautiful snow-covered mountain: it can only mean that filming has begun on the new James Bond film.

A behind-the-scenes video has been released which shows the cast and crew shooting a scene from Spectre in Austria.

The footage features 007 (Daniel Craig), Bond Girl Madeleine Swann (Lea Seydoux) and henchman Mr Hinx (Dave Bautista), and hints at an action-packed sequence filled with everything from helicopters to a car chase.

Associate producer, Gregg Wilson said: ‘We have to deliver an amazing sequence and this is going to be one of the major action sequences of the movie, a jewel in the crown so to speak.
It’s going to be spectacular and Austria seemed to offer everything that we needed to pull it off.’

Dennis Gassner, the film’s production designer, said: ‘The thing that Sam and I talked about was how we are going to top Skyfall, it’s going to be Spectre and so far it’s a good start.’

Spectre will be released in late 2015.
