The Producers.

Theatre Guild Glasgow

7.30pm each evening 2.30pm Saturday matinee

Shy accountant Leo Bloom wants nothing more than to be a Broadway Producer, and when he is assigned to do the books for seasoned pro Max Bialystock he discovers that in theory "you can make more money with a flop than with a hit". Bialystock, driven by greed, hatches a plan - they are going to put on the worst show on Broadway and make a million dollars each.

First Max must call upon his plethora of elderly backers to put up the money, and then it's an adventure to find the worst show, the worst director and the worst actors - what could possibly go right?! The horrendously offensive Third-Reich themed musical "Springtime for Hitler" might turn out to be more popular than expected.

Featuring songs like "I Wanna Be A Producer", "We Can Do It", "Keep It Gay" and most notably "Springtime For Hitler", "The Producers" will have you laughing at just about everything you shouldn't!
