- Directed by: Chris Buck, Jennifer Lee
- Cast: Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Josh Gad, Jonathan Groff
Elsa (Menzel) and Anna (Bell) head off on a dangerous journey after Elsa hears voices calling her to a distant land. The plot is less involving than the character interaction, but Olaf (Gad) is the comedic highlight and while it may be less compelling than the original, it's got all the ingredients for a hit.

Gemini Man

- 2019
- China / US
- 12A
- Directed by: Ang Lee
- Cast: Will Smith, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Clive Owen
Henry (Smith) is a 51-year-old assassin who develops a conscience, but the powers that be want to retire him; then baddie businessman Varris (Owen) sends a 31-year-old clone of Henry after him. The characters are totally underdeveloped and the effects (include Lee’s favourite high frame rate) make it look cheap. Smith is as watchable as ever, but that’s all.

Left to his own devices young Kevin (Culkin) has to deal with two bungling burglars (Pesci and Stern) who threaten to invade his peaceful haven. Jolly, if sadistic, scare-comedy antics produced by teen flick veteran John Hughes.

Johnson and Awkwafina steal their scenes, although Gillan has to do too much exposition before she can get going, and while it’s a bit too similar to its predecessor it’s amiable festive fun.

When mystery writer Harlan Thrombey (Plummer) is found with his throat slit, puffed-up private detective Benoit Blanc (Craig) gets on the case. A wickedly knowing, flamboyantly bitchy take on the whodunnit, with a great cast, bags of style and a splendidly outrageous comic turn from Craig. Bloody good fun.

Kate (Clarke) is a Yugoslavian immigrant whose life is going downhill until she meets the mysterious bike-riding Tom (Golding), who seems too good to be true. Thompson and Kimmings’ script is a saccharine romantic fantasy and George Michael’s music isn’t always incorporated effectively, but its heart is in the right place.
