Documentary about Afghanistan’s most prolific filmmaker, Salim Shaheen, who has made over a hundred movies even in wartime conditions. Director Kronlund lets Shaheen self-mythologise without restraint and although it’s a touch repetitive and could use more context, it’s a fun and sometimes revealing fly-on-the-wall about an indefatigable movie eccentric.
