QClub at QUAD will be hosting Deaf Artist Martin Glover to QUAD on Saturday 4 December to run a FREE BSL Christmas workshop for d/Deaf families, from 10am - Noon in the QUAD gallery.

Martin is a Deaf Architect and an established BSL tour guide and facilitator in galleries and museums (including Tate and Yorkshire Sculpture Park), covering a wide spectrum of themes including architecture, art and social issues.

QUAD welcomes the return of our Family Friendly activities with Listen Love Learn with artist Charlotte Tupper or practitioner Heather Louise Hepworth.

Listen Love Learn is a weekly creative programme for families with children under 5 years. It aims to enhance the participant’s confidence, support social inclusion and promote positive health and wellbeing, whilst engaging all participants in fun, creative and stimulating activities.

The sessions are very informal and set in a relaxed environment.

The first set of Listen Love Learn sessions will be delivered by artist Charlotte Tupper (https://www.thetuppermuseum.org/about). Charlotte will deliver a series of multisensory sessions encouraging curiosity, communication and cooperation through creativity. Using an array of everyday, familiar and unusual materials, each week offers a different theme to explore through hands on activities. Come and play with your tiny tot as well as socialise with other parents.

Talk Cinema Film Course

Film tutor Alan Seaman is back with the long running Talk Cinema. The premise is simple, you watch and film and then you talk about it! Featuring films pulled from QUAD's current programme and discussion steered by Film Lecturer Alan Seaman, this is perfect for film fans of all stages - from beginner to experts!

This is a ten week course. During weeks 1,3,5,7 & 9, you will be watching a film chosen by the film lecturer from QUAD's programme followed by a discussion session on weeks 2,4,6,8 &10. There will be a 30 minute introduction session at 6:30pm ahead of the first film *No Time To Die *at 7:00pm on 5 October. All other discussion sessions begin at 7:00pm.

Tickets - £60 Full Price, £40 Members and Concessions and £30 Under 25s. (includes admission to five films as part of the course).
