Beauty And The Beast

This December come and join Pontypridd Theatre Company and the cast when they bring this famous panto to the stage at the Muni!

Filled with humour, heartfelt scenes and all your favourite characters, Beauty and the Beast will please young and old and will leave you enchanted. Come and meet Beauty, Madam Lotte, Prince Rowan and of course Rose Fairy; there'll also be a few surprise characters along the way!

Clwb Comedy

After a long summer break, Clwb Comedy returns to the Muni on Saturday 4th November with a very special last show of 2017!

This month’s show is headlined by former Teletubbie, Dave Thompson!

Dave Thompson has performed his stand-up comedy act in over thirty-three countries. Known for his zany style, he’s written material for many famous names including Harry Hill, Omid Djalili, Ronnie Corbett, Bruce Forsyth, Stewart Lee, and Phil Nichol. Dave appeared in four feature films and numerous TV shows including ‘Harry Hill’s TV Burp’. He’s best-known as the actor inside the Tinky Winky costume in the world-famous TV show ‘Teletubbies‘. If you think that show was weird, wait until you see Dave live on stage!

Staylittle Presents Climbing Trees Muni Arts Centre, Pontypridd 23.12.17

Saturday December 23rd 2017 will see CLIMBING TREES return to headline the Muni Arts Centre following their sold out show alongside fellow Pontypridd bands The People The Poet and Peasant's King to reopen the venue back in April 2016.

After a string of UK summer festival appearances and with the Trees playing their first US shows in the Autumn, this is a chance to catch the Welsh Music Prize-shortlisted BBC Introducing favourites back on home turf for a special hometown Christmas show at one of South Wales' best live music venues!

With Caerphilly-based five-piece Ofelia just announced as the first support act, keep up to date via the Facebook event page for news of the third and final act on the bill!
