Even those with the lowest IQs can rise to the top in the land of the free, as this picaresque tale sets out to prove. John Kirkpatrick marshals his family into a new force in the world of English Ceilidh Dancing. Building on the style of the late but much loved and admired Mr Gubbins' Bicycle, John calls the dances and leads the charge on button accordion, with his four sons in full flight behind him backing him to the hilt - Jobie on bass guitar, Benji on guitar, bouzouki, or banjo, George on melodeon, mouth organ, and selected percussion, and Fergus on drums.

Peeping Tom have been one of the mainstays of the English ceilidh scene for decades. They are highly regarded for their exceptionally tight and powerful music, a Rock Ceilidh band with a precise and uptempo beat. They are very easy to dance to, particularly for newcomers.
Calling the dances will be one of Godalming's, and the band's, favourite callers, Barry Goodaman.
GBH Ceilidhs have been going since 1976. The raison d'etre has always been to book the best and most exciting English folk dance bands and dance callers from all over the country. Experts and newcomers are all welcome, especially the latter as it is important that we keep the tradition alive and thriving.
