April In Paris

A Comedy by John Godber

Bet and Al lead a quiet, humdrum life in their small Yorkshire home until Bet wins a "Romantic Breaks" competition in a magazine. The prize, a holiday in Paris, represents their first experience abroad and has profound effects on the way they look at the world around them once they return home.  They sort out French cuisine, wrestle with their phrasebook, and fend off would-be muggers on the Metro in this hilarious depiction of the English abroad.

Wild Goose Chase

A Comedy by Derek Benfield

Chester Dreadnought bluffs his way into the crumbling stately home of an impecunious aristocratic family, and even a trigger-happy belted Earl, suffering from hallucinations, cannot keep at bay the enterprising pair of jewel thieves who are pursuing their loot - not to mention Chester - round the castle. Suits of armour and secret doors, mistaken identities and dotty servants all help to provide the variety of fare that goes to the making of this wild goose chase.
