Roxanne at The Verdict is excited to present Alan Barnes and Phil DeGreg for an evening of classic jazz.
Alan Barnes is a multi Award Winning musician with music that was radical 50 years back - hard, urban post bop - but inspired with so much passion you could believe it was minted on the spot - which is always part of the story with jazz. Joining him is US piano star Phil DeGreg, accomplished and comfortable in a wide range of jazz styles, ranging from mainstream to bebop.
Phil's versatility has led to performances with dozens of internationally recognised jazz artists, as well as leading and recording with his own groups.

A Canadian native, Jane's songs have been covered by numerous artists, with particular success by k.d Lang on her renditions of Love is Everything, Haint It Funny and a stunning rendering of The Valley. This is guaranteed to be a very special evening with Jane performing some of her most beautiful music.
