Alex Curtis Quartet featuring Dave O'Higgins

Alex Curtis Quartet featuring Dave O'Higgins

Since forming in 2016, the highly enthusiastic audience reactions to the concerts of the Alex Curtis band bear testimony to how well the band works together in this setting. Drawing on a whole range of influences, they demonstrate outstanding musicianship and very strong collective writing skills. Expect highly original arrangements/compositions, heavy grooves and plenty of exciting group interaction. Featuring special guest, Dave O'Higgins on tenor sax. Twice winner of Best Tenor Sax at the British Jazz Awards, saxophonist Dave O'Higgins is one of the most prolific and creative jazz musicians the UK has ever produced, with 18 albums released as leader since 1993.
