Two transvestites and a transsexual team up for a trip across the Australian outback for a drag show in Alice Springs. Serious issues pop up from time to time, but the emphasis is on the camp humour of the in-bus bitchiness and outrageous musical set pieces.

The Towner Art Gallery has been located in a purpose built building, adjacent to Congress Theatre, since 2009. It originally opened in 1923 and thereafter was in a number of buildings in Eastbourne.

Its collection is mainly 19th and 20th Century including work by Henry Moore, Lawrence Alma-Tadema, Vanessa Bell, William Nicholson, Howard Hodgkin, Peter Liversidge, Julian Opie, Victor Pasmore and Pablo Picasso. It holds a significant collection of works by Eric Ravilious who studied and worked at Eastbourne School of Art.

There is a regular programme of films in the Towner Auditorium.
