This workshop gives 7-13 year-olds the chance to explore their creative side, drawing and using collage to create a zine that reimagines the city. How could we make our city a better place to live in? What places do we want to protect and what places do we want to change? Historical magazines written by East London children will be on hand to help you get inspired.
Join Queen Mary University of London researcher Lucie Glasheen and performer, maker, educator and storyteller Arkem Mark Walton for interactive workshop.
This event is part of the Being Human festival, the UK’s only national festival of the humanities, taking place 11–20 November 2021. For further information please see beinghumanfestival.org.
