Kate (Faris) is a single mom working two jobs when obnoxious Mexican playboy Leonardo (Derbez) chucks her cleaning gear off his yacht; when he gets amnesia, she claims he’s her husband. This twist on the lightweight Hawn/Russell original has energy and emotion but is dumb – yet the perky performances make it work. Simple but effective.
