Biopic of the first man on the moon, Neil Armstrong (Gosling), with subtle and unshowy performances from Gosling and from Foy as his no-BS wife Jan. An intimate and moving character drama with raw and visceral space-peril thrills and a hero whose fame rests on modesty, curiosity and problem-solving purposefulness.
This film is not currently showing in cinemas.
Based on the book by James R Hansen this is the story of Neil Armstrong, the First Man to set foot on the Moon. Focusing on the years between 1961 and 1969, the film follows Armstrong’s life and the sacrifices he made to complete one of the most dangerous missions in history, on NASA’s Apollo 11.
