Robin of Loxley (Egerton) returns from the Crusades to find his possessions confiscated by the Sheriff of Nottingham (Mendelsohn) and his love Marian (Hewson) being courted by Will Scarlet (Dornan). The running time is a stretch but it doesn’t take itself too seriously, preferring to get in, get out and (mostly) get the job done.
