The relationship between an unhappily married scientist (Allen) and an exiled Lebanese surgeon who has been reduced to working in London kitchens as told in verse. Potter's new film is something quite wonderful - challenging, thought-provoking and very brave, 'Yes' will divide audiences but God knows it deserves considerable praise for its experimental nature. One of the most interesting British films to be released since Alex Cox's 'Revengers Tragedy'.
