Shot using the first mirrorless camera capable of shooting 4K, Kia and Cosmos is a visually crisp debut feature from Sudipto Roy. Inspired by Mark Haddon’s The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, 15-year-old Kia has autism and is trying to de ne her place in the world. In a quest for truth, she travels from Kolkata to Kalimpong to uncover the strange disappearance of her father, writing a mystery novel along the way. A heartwarming tale of India’s first teenage girl detective.
