Enjoy a fantastic double-bill of non-traditional love stories for the modern age; exploring infidelity, sexual chemistry, ageing and loss and – the perfect antidote to a schmaltzy Valentine’s. All tickets include a drink and a box of popcorn!

Love is Strange
John Lithgow and Alfred Molina shine in Ira Sachs’ (Little Men) tender and deeply-moving meditation on long-term relationships. After 40 years together, Ben and George can finally marry, but they are heartbreakingly wrenched apart when George loses his job. With humanity and subtle humour, Love is Strange is a richly poignant film about commitment, love, ageing and loss – offering a reminder of the importance of genuine human connections at a time when they may seem fragile and fleeting.

Sleeping with Other People
Crackling with hilarious repartee and seductive sexual chemistry, Alison Brie and Jason Sudeikis star as endearing self-saboteurs in this very modern romantic comedy. Lainey and Jake bond over their shared histories of one-night stands and infidelity, but, despite promising to keep things platonic, there is undeniable emotion within their increasing flirtations. Writer/Director Leslye Headlund’s (Russian Doll) refreshingly funny and non-judgemental film captures the challenges of love and relationships in the 21st century.
