Fashion photographer Thomas (Hemmings) becomes bored with his life of 60s excess. Frustrated with the superficial nature of the fashion world, he takes clandestine photographs of the meeting between two strangers in a park – a woman (Redgrave) and an older man. Thomas initially thinks he has merely snapped evidence of an embarrassing affair. But, as he is tracked down for the photographs, he realises that he could possess proof of murder.
