In 1971, Haiti, three very different women come to enjoy the sex tourism without realising the world of the expropriation, economic suppression and corruption that it masks. Highly laudable and well intentioned, the film is derailed initially by poor period detail, an obvious script and cringy, direct to camera monologues but ultimately is undeniably watchable, resonating long after the credits roll.
