Shola, aka Rocks (Bakray), lives with her mother Funke (Akinlude) and younger brother in East London. When Funke disappears, Rocks has to look after her younger brother. A richly-textured story of a modern teenager forced to grow up, with a joyful sense of female solidarity, and funny, moving and authentic portraits of teen friendships.
