Robert (Ruffalo) is a corporate defence attorney who switches sides when a friend’s cattle are ravaged by diseases caused by chemical run-off from a DuPont plant. The spiralling narrative sucks you in, but it’s rather lacking in conviction, idiosyncrasy and suspense (Hathaway is wasted as Robert’s crotchety wife.) Still, interesting and pertinent.
This film is not currently showing in cinemas.
