Fabienne (Deneuve) is an old-school movie diva who has just published her memoirs, and whose estranged daughter (Binoche) comes home with her husband (Hawke) for a confrontation. A respectable, sometimes charming French family drama, very watchable and with disarming moments, but lacking the elegance and assurance we expect from Kore-eda’s work.
