A brilliant professor (Roth) despairs of finishing his life's work and grieves for a long lost love, Laura. But after he is struck by lightning his body reverts to its youthful prime and, what's more, he seems to have stumbled upon the reincarnation of Laura. Initially engaging, 'Youth Without Youth' doesn't have sufficient legs to be anything more than an interesting exercise.
