Overlong, bland and ham-fisted adaptation of the novel by Cecilia Ahern. A young widow's (Swank) grief at losing her husband is tempered when she finds a series of messages he wrote her before he died. Initially reluctant to re-engage with love, she soon recovers her sense of womanhood through a series of unlikely steps with her husband cheerleading her on from above.
