Nussbaum's modern high school adaptation of Snow White should mark an end to the tediously fashionable practice of shoehorning classic texts into a modern teenage setting. Bynes plays our eponymous hero, and the wicked stepmother is sorority leader and school president Rachel Wicthburn (Paxton). Unfortunately such inventions as the modern mirror on the wall, the college website, do not last as the movie descends into tedious schmaltz.
