A provincial journalist is charged with writing the film reviews for the local paper and, knowing nothing about cinema, starts to copy them from a specialised Parisian journal. He travels to Lausanne for press screenings, and there meets Rosa, another critic, and begins a kinky relationship with her, until his cheating is revealed.
