Renoir's 1932 class comedy digitally restored. An anarchic tramp, Boudu (Michel), is rescued from drowning by a petit bourgeois Parisian bookseller (Granval) who then takes to his home to recuperate and chaos ensues. This film was remade as Down and Out in Beverley Hills in 1986, but this is the version you should see.
