Jeff (Segel) is a sweet-natured thirtyish loser whose brother Pat (Helms) ropes him into tracking Pat's possibly adulterous wife (Greer). Diversion (rather than hilarity) ensues, and the film's tendency to elevate Jeff's charming hopelessness over the values of those awful people with jobs and families feels somewhat disingenuous and pandering.
