In the war-torn Balkans, Angel (Day) is a mute orphan forced to work in a house where girls are kept for men's pleasure – until the men go after her. Day's performance is solid and Hyett refrains from showing too much flesh, but exploiting a real-world scenario for genre horror/revenge thrills leaves a nasty taste in the mouth.
