A young and innocent usherette falls in love for a customer, meeting him again later and marrying him. Soon after their wedding ceremony however, she discovers that he is a jewel thief who is about to be sent to jail. As a result to this distressful news she moves into a friend’s apartment only to discover that it is a front for a gambling ring. Once again she is exposed to a dangerous lifestyle and runs into trouble.
