In his quest to unmask a killer, Lee Taylor’s wisecracking reporter scrutinises the employees of a medical facility run by Lionel Atwill’s creepy Doctor in Michael Curtiz’ s eerie-yet-humorous horror. Researching a series of gruesome cannibalistic killings dubbed ‘the Moon Killer Murders,’ the intrepid newshound encounters the Doctor’s own decidedly unorthodox methods of investigation, while catching the eye of the physician’s attractive daughter (Fay Wray).
