A notorious flop when it was originally released, this is the film that helped create the notion that Hepburn was 'box office poison', a phrase that would blight her career until the success of The Philadelphia Story three years later. Today it's a camp classic with a sizable fanbase who love it purely for the sight of Katherine Hepburn dressed as a boy, although Grant's stab at a Cockney is its own reward.
