This film is not currently showing in cinemas.
The legendary Tony Hancock plays the part of a bored office clerk who decides to reinvent himself as a bohemian artist in Paris. Despite his lack of talent, he manages to impress a struggling artist who befriends him and before long, he is being hailed as a genius and a celebrated figure in the bohemian set. Tony Hancock appeared in only four films and The Rebel and The Punch and Judy Man are the only two in which his comic talent takes centre stage. This is a rare opportunity to see this classic comedy and a merciless assault on the pretensions of the art world on the big screen.
