Rocky Road to Dublin

Rocky Road to Dublin
  • 1967

Excellent near revolutionary documentary from Eire which, although fundamentally a portrait of everyday life in Dublin in the 1960s, asks what you do once you have won the revolution. In the case of Eire you hand it straight back to the bourgeousie, better known as the Roman Catholic Church. This film will be preceded by a making of documentary.
