Sammy Smith is training to compete in the long distance running championship. When a bully and rival throws Sammy's t-shirt through the window of a research laboratory, Sammy must recover it before the race; but upon contact with some electrical equipment the t-shirt gains supernatural powers that give the wearer an unnatural gift.
