Canadian pop singer, activist and filmmaker Elisapie Isaac writes, directs and stars in this short documentary addressing the question of evolving Inuit culture in today’s world. Isaac explores the changing lifestyles of the indigenous people of Nunavik, Quebec where tradition and modernity converge on a daily basis. Seeking to bridge this gap between old and new, she speaks with an Inuit elder, a young policeman from the village of Kangirsujuaq and her own grandfather, posing the intrinsic question: can Inuit culture survive in our modern world?
