Lucas (Mikkelsen) is a mild-mannered kindergarten teacher whose life is turned upside-down when he is falsely accused of sexually abusing children in his care. Vinterberg establishes a vivid sense of place and avoids generic clichés, and if the film could have dug a little deeper, it's powerfully acted.
